The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club awards two $1000 scholarships to a male and female BRHS student that exemplifies our motto of "Service above Self". These awards are made to individuals demonstrating excellence in scholastic, extra curricular and/or community service activities. 
 
 
We also award two "Vocational & Trades" scholarships of $1000 each to two BRHS students that will enroll in post-secondary vocational and trades programs. These awards are made to individuals demonstrating excellence in their community service activities and their chosen trade.
 
 
 A family's financial need may also be taken into consideration by the reviewing committee for both scholarships. Applications are due April 15. The Rotary Scholarship Committee will then select the students to receive the scholarships. The Scholarships will be awarded at a Rotary meeting in May or June. You can pick up a copy of the applications in the BRHS guidance office
 
Additionally, If you are a student in the Boothbay Region, and if you plan to participate in an academic program such as a study trip abroad or specialized training program, you may also be eligible for a Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club scholarship. Send us a letter, outlining the program, what you expect to learn and why the program is important to you, and how you plan to raise the money to pay for it and your expenses, and send it to us for our consideration.
