Rotary Foundation Supporters
The Rotary Foundation is Rotary International's $1.5 billion humanitarian fund. It's purpose is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through improvements in health, support of education and alleviation of poverty. The Rotary Foundation is a not-
for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and Friends of the Foundation who share a vision of a better world.

Our Club has used Rotary Foundation funds to help build the Y-Arts stage at Camp Knickerbocker and to provide dictionaries and reading materials for the kids in our elementary schools. Globally, we have used Rotary Foundation resources to help alleviate AIDS in South Africa, to build a playground and purchase vehicles for Safe Passage in Guatemala, to provide computers to rural indigenous areas in Guatemala, and so much more.

Because the Rotary Foundation only exists thanks to the generosity of Rotarians and friends, Rotary International honors all those who support the Foundation and asks Every Rotarian Every Year to remember the Foundation with a $100 pledge. Donors who give $1000 over their lifetime are recognized as Paul Harris Fellows, and with the donation of each additional $1000, they become multiple Paul Harris Fellows. Alternatively a donor may choose to honor someone else by giving the money in that person's name. Then, the person chosen for the honor is named an Honorary Paul Harris Fellow.
