Back in Person in March

At its February meeting, the Board voted to resume in person/hybrid meetings beginning March 3. We’ll start off with a purely social evening on March 3 and begin to work in speaker programs. Amy will continue to provide delicious and ample buffet offerings. For those who prefer to Zoom, we will continue to offer a Zoom/hybrid option where possible.

This week we will continue to have a Zoom only meeting.  We always have a great time and conversation.  If you haven’t been dialing in, please do!  It’s a great way to keep in touch.

Teacher Appreciation Day

We’re crystalizing plans for Teacher Appreciation Day for the area schools. We start off at the Southport School tomorrow, Wednesday February 16. We’ll be bringing pizza, pie, and ice cream so no one will leave hungry! Next is March 2 at the Boothbay Elementary School and March 18 at Boothbay Region High School and Edgecomb Eddy. Mark your calendars, we’ll need lots of people to pick up and deliver pizza.

Barn Cleanout

As noted last week, there will be a barn clean out on Saturday, February 19 at 8:30. We’re looking to clear as much space as possible for pickups leading up to our opening planned for April. We’ll need many hands, trailers, trucks, etc.

Dues!

If you haven’t paid your dues, please do so as promptly as you can. With no in-person meetings bringing in dinner & turpentine income, we need everyone’s dues.
