Alyssa Allen
Rain kept us indoors last Thursday but we had a spirited group together to socialize and enjoy Amy’s wonderful creations. Alyssa Allen, Business Development Officer at The First spoke with us at the meeting. Alyssa is a member of the Rotary Club of Damariscotta Newcastle. She shared with us what attracted her to Rotary and her deep commitment to community service. It’s great to welcome members from neighboring clubs.
New Member Nancy Adams
We welcomed Nancy Adams as a new member last week. Nancy has been a regular at our meetings for some time and has visited the barn on Saturdays. We are glad to have her as a member and look forward to her further involvement in the club.
Whitney Lytle from the Railway Village
This week we will welcome Whitney Lytle, Director of Curation and Education at the Boothbay Railway Village Museum. The Railway Village is a wonderful local attraction we all enjoy. They were also very accommodating in allowing us to meet outdoors on their lawn as Covid prevented us from using our clubhouse.
Barn Open
The barn is open Saturdays 8:30 – 11:00! This Saturday will be the 9th Saturday open this year and we’re having a great year so far. We’ve sold a lot but the barn is full after a couple of pick ups this week. Come volunteer and tell your friends & family to come check out the offerings.
