Bruce Harris – PETS Training

Last week we had incoming President Bruce Harris describe his recent PETS (President Elect Training Seminar) training. It’s a very comprehensive program, covering topics including membership, strategic planning, public relations, and diversity. It’s a great foundation for Rotary leadership and it was informative for members to hear about it. Thanks to Bruce for sharing!

Ukrainian Expert Paul Zalucky

This Thursday, March 31 Paul Zalucky will talk with us about the crisis in the Ukraine. Mr Zalucky was recently featured in the Boothbay Register referencing his extensive knowledge of Ukraine and Eastern Europe. He is a retired CIA Senior Officer who served in the Ukraine for many years. Since retirement he has worked as a private consultant for Ukrainian and US Cyber-Security firms. He is a member of the US-Ukraine Business Council and fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and Polish. He is currently working with refugees fleeing Ukraine and also with the families choosing to stay.

Rotary Ukraine Relief

Rotary International is using the Disaster Response Fund to collect donations and support these efforts. Contributions to that fund can be made through My Rotary at Rotary Disaster Response Fund.
