Hopefully everyone had a good Thanksgiving with family and friends. Sharing food around the table, and if you're Laurie Z., football, with loved ones is the perfect start to the Holidays.

This week our speaker will be Elizabeth McClellan, from Partner's In World Health, a truly amazing organization that repurposes used medical equipment, ships it to developing countries worldwide, including Ukraine and Syria.  While saving hundreds of thousands tons from going into our waste stream.  Hearing about the work of Partners in World Health will make you feel optimistic and hopeful about this crazy world.  Something we all could use more of, for sure.

You're in for a wonderful surprise this week because the Rotary Clubhouse is now showing the beautiful oil paintings of Artist Rick Dickinson from Southport, Maine.  Rick creates still life, landscapes, seascapes and portraits in a painting style known as the Boston School.  Thank you Alice Mutch for coordinating this show for us to enjoy.

 

The Rotary Barn will be open Saturday from 8:30 to 11:00 for you, your friends and family to visit till December 17th.  Unless, there is a snowstorm or even worse an ice storm.  No heat in the big, gray Barn, so dress warm.
