Album Name: Rotary - Lions Golf Tournament Return to Albums
Album Date: Jun 5, 2011
Description: It's always fun when Rotary and Lions get together for our almost-annual joint golf tournament, and when Brenda Blackman chairs the event, we know it will be a success. It's also remarkable how much money Bill Bailey can make just selling mulligans and dispensing philosophy, and who knew that Vic Taylor was born to be an auctioneer?

The Annual Rotary - Lions Golf Tournament at the Boothbay Country Club. Chairperson Brenda has it all under control, and we couldn't do it without our sponsors. Rick makes a great commercial for our major sponsor, The First. You can't start too young. Hole 16, sponsored by the Two Chicks, aka Connie and Elaine.
Since Frank sponsored this hole, does that mean he can charge golfers to play it? Estelle and Dawn manage the proceeds, with a smile. Once and future Rotary Club presidents share the moment. Annette and Jim have the right stuff. Bob Jacobson prepares for action.
Way to go, Bob! Tom dispenses philosophy and mulligans. Joan on the green. Vic takes it all in his stride. Bill demonstrates his form.
Ah, nothing like a visit to the tall grass. Rotarians Henry, Bill, Skip, Brenda, Vic and Joan at the First place gross winners in 2009 are Bob Wheeler, Mel Shahan, Roy Lewis and Scott Price. First place net winners in 2007 are Jim and Annette Stormont, Steve Branch and (not shown) Dewey Graham. All the proceeds go to Rotary and Lions charities, which means every ticket is a winner.
