The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Clubhouse
We're mighty proud of our Clubhouse. We understand that there are a handful of other Rotary Club-owned Clubhouses in the U.S., although we've never visited another one. Our Clubhouse gives us a place to display our collection of club banners (we have around 700, but who's counting?), and if you come for a "makeup," please be sure to bring one of your own in trade. For 50 years, now, the Clubhouse is a great place to hold our meetings in convivial style. We've got a piano in one corner, graced by musician Viv Daniels, and our always-popular Turpentine Club in the other, and maybe both account for our Club's well-known fellowship and good humor.

Most important, our Clubhouse makes it possible for us to invite honored guests to special celebrations and to dinner. Each year, we host the high school graduates (it's a squeeze, but they fit!) and we honor a local senior citizen who embodies our Rotary values of "service above self." For more on these and other programs, check out our "Recognition and Awards" section.
