Girls' Basketball Tournament

The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club was promoting women's sports long before it was fashionable! Every year for 36 years we have joined with the YMCA to sponsor a girls' and boys' basketball tournament which brings together middle-school athletes from all over midcoast Maine.  Under the leadership of Coach IJ Pinkham we provide timekeepers and staff the refreshment stand and ticket booth for the girls' tourney; the kids have a great time and learn sportsmanship into the bargain.
